11 Amazon tip and tricks that get great deals and discounts this shopping season

The holiday shopping season is now in full swing as Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials come and go. There are a few weeks left to purchase more items before Christmas and the last day of holiday shipping is just around the corner. So, to help you with your shopping, we've featured our favorite Amazon tips that offer discounts of up to 70% on almost all products.

You don't have to be an Amazon Prime member. You just have to know where to look. Say anything you want to know, including good writing. But more importantly, these products are listed as Amazon Warehouse offerings, which greatly reduces the cost of returns, damage, minor use, or upgrades. And yes, most products come with two days of free shipping (one of the perks of your Amazon Prime membership) if you need to rush your holiday giveaways. (PS: the return options are confusing at times.)

Look for the Amazon Warehouse Deals page

We usually start our Amazon search on the Amazon Warehouse Deals landing page. This is because we have reduced the price list almost entirely, so often you only see discounted items (with one small exception). To access it, use your desktop browser or Amazon mobile app to open Amazon and search for “Amazon Warehouse” or “Warehouse Deals”.

Instead of getting a daily list of search results, you should see a screen like Amazon's default search page with search, categories, etc. From there, you can browse categories like Computers & Tablets, Kitchen, or Home Improvements (in fact, click the link in this article and other links to see a list of products on the market). Alternatively, you can search for more specific products than necessary on the standard Amazon homepage. , with the exception of services, which are sometimes much cheaper.

This quick and easy way works best if you're not in the store for something special. For example, just looking for gift ideas or taking the time to have lunch. It can be a lot of fun meeting groups and finding things that stand out. But if you're buying something special, read on for our expert advice on how to find discount items using Amazon Warehouse Deals.

Why Amazon Warehouse stuff is so cheap

Like other large retailers such as Walmart or Target, Amazon accepts multiple customer returns that are not available for new sales, regardless of the reason for the buyer's return or even opening. That's why everything Amazon Warehouse sells is marked as used, even if you don't touch the product itself. Second-hand goods, whatever the situation, cheaper and sometimes even cheaper. And it's good for you.

Amazon Warehouse Deals work for almost anything

Everything we've told you so far works great if you change what you're looking for a bit. On the other hand, if you're buying something special like the Otterbox iPhone 13 case, restricting your search to just product names can be frustrating. You can see the items that are not related.

Whenever you go to Amazon for the latest products, you are looking for other options. There is a way to check and see if any discounted warehouse deals are available on your Amazon listing. First, choose the products you want to buy from Amazon as usual, but don't add them to your cart yet. Scroll down to the page and see words like "new and used", "valid", "new and valid" or "active" that should appear on the right side of the website.

You'll also see the price, usually the cheapest option (excluding taxes or shipping). If you are unlucky enough to find connections on your computer, use your browser's "search" function (usually Control-F on a Windows PC, Command-F on a Mac) to view the content.

When you see the link, look for products that display "Amazon Warehouse" as the seller and have the Amazon Prime logo next to the price. If you have multiple old items in your Amazon store, you may have a separate listing for each, especially if the items are different.

Be careful of Amazon's redirecting trick

Other things to watch out for - you should always come back to the Amazon Warehouse Deals landing page before looking elsewhere. Otherwise, searching elsewhere in the search bar at the top of the page may cause Amazon to exit your store for your entire site.

Ditto for "recent research". For example, if you search Amazon for “short sandals,” go to Warehouse Deals and search for “banana slippers” and decide you want a bunny on a banana, choose “bunny slippers” from the menu instead. . It appears when you select the search bar. Recent searches search for the same content with the same Amazon as the first search. That is, they leave the commercial warehouse and return to the land of the usual low prices. To change location, re-enter your search on the main Amazon Warehouse Deals page.

You'll find the best deals if you're not loyal to one brand

Let's say you've been thinking about buying a new phone for some time. You don't care who you do it for, you just don't want to spend a lot of money. Or a new dog leash, a robot cleaner though. You are sensitive to value, not brand loyalty. Now is the perfect time to explore Amazon Warehouse offerings. Do it like you do on all Amazon sites. Enter a search term in the dialog box, then select "Search". Searching the Warehouse Deals main page does not seem to interfere with multiple price lists.

With one caveat: Amazon "sponsored" name. Unless you have an ad blocker that specifically removes paid Amazon ads (you can use the Amazon Ad Blocker Chrome extension), you'll still see all of the items included in the discount. These discount ads are almost identical to commercial products, except that they are labeled "Sponsored". Cunning, but that's why I'm warning you.

How Amazon Warehouse returns work

Of the twelve (if not hundreds) of Amazon Warehouse names we've bought over the years, only one has had a problem: a car bluetooth adapter that shoots randomly, a wireless router that doesn't advertise anything. Lighting, dressed very nicely with furry dogs; things like that.

When this happens, return the item as you returned the wrong item, and then order a new one. Sure, it's a bit heavy, but considering the hundreds if not thousands of dollars saved in this way over the years, it's well worth it.

The point is, most Amazon Warehouse products work just fine. There are a lot of things out of the box. Even if the product comes out of the box, Amazon goes beyond what the company calls a "20-item testing process." Each product is provided with good quality and priced accordingly. While some items may be harmful to cosmetics or missing items, accessories, instructions, or accessories, don't despair as Amazon reports damage and lost items or items including their condition.

What the different Amazon grades mean

Amazon offers five ratings for the products it sells. Here is a brief description of what Amazon stands for.

Refurbished: This is the highest rating of Amazon products available and is equivalent to another business called 'Refurbished'. Remanufactured products have been carefully inspected and tested to ensure they look and function like new, and are backed by a 90 day replacement or money back guarantee. The "new" Roku Express Plus we ordered has already been unlocked.

Used, Like New: The packaging may be damaged, incomplete, or missing, but the product itself has no defects or marks. All included equipment and damage to the package are described in the listing. The Evenflo Like New Lock Gate Box we bought with our savings of $ 6 was a bit broken, but I saw a lot of bad things on the Walmarts shelf. The door itself is immaculate.

Use, Very Good: This product shows signs of wear, indicates some use, but others in performance. The packaging may be damaged, incomplete, or the product may need to be repackaged. The missing items will be listed in the list.

Usage, Good: The products show signs of use, the packaging may be damaged, or the product may need to be repackaged and may not contain assembly materials, instructions, or tools. The other Bosch Icon wiper blade we got was excellent, but saved $ 15 on this blade and I can't be honest it's in the car right now.

Valid, accepted: very old but still fully functional. Large decorative items, packaging problems and / or lack of space, supplies, instructions or tools. I got Echo Dot for $ 23, which is well worth it. There is a hole near the power port, but it's hard to tell at the table and it's half the cost.

Choose the right quality grade

If you have multiple names with different metrics, think about how the names will be used. If it works well and you can't take care of fewer symptoms like hair clippers or cordless practice, go for the cheaper option.

If it's for display purposes like a kitchen, sofa, or wall clock, read the description a bit more and look for a great or new light fixture.

But to be fair, the price is low enough that everything will tempt you to put up with a few bumps or nicks. In our previous experience, Amazon likes to make the mistake of being on the alert side by checking for good or received items, which the average person might think are good or new.

Beware, you may not have a warranty with your Warehouse Deal

One of the benefits of purchasing from Amazon Warehouse is that it is paid for by Amazon's standard 30-day exchange or refund policy. Please note that Amazon does not come with an original manufacturer warranty as these products are considered used.

This means that if the product is not registered under someone else's name, there is a significant opportunity for issues that arose in Amazon's previous 30 day period to be resolved by contacting the manufacturer.

Amazon Prime members still get free shipping

When you sign up for Amazon Prime, you don't get a bigger discount on Amazon Warehouse deals, but you get free shipping like any other Prime Prime product. A lot of our purchases are done through Amazon Warehouse, but we pay Prime.

Most items purchased from the Amazon warehouse are shipped with new items and arrive within the same 1-2 days, but some orders may take longer. In this case, the extra prep time is usually set, so you know what to expect.

Quick tips about buying from third-party sellers

When browsing the listings for Amazon Warehouse deals, you might need to ignore the most important listings that Amazon doesn't sell. What you stumble upon are products from third party vendors whose only relationship with Amazon is if they are sold on the Amazons store, just like eBay.

However, Amazon's consumer protection business lags far behind eBay's. eBay guarantees refunds to customers in the event of a dispute, and Amazon will eventually do the same, but follow with caution as the process can be a bit more complicated. Usually, if you can't find enough deals in Amazon Warehouse, head to eBay to find replacement products. eBay is a bit transparent about what it sells to its resellers. Unlike Amazon handsets which have yet to open, if you are looking to purchase a handset station, eBay might be the best option.
